Hey there, everybody. Okay. So what’s on the top of my mind? Last time I was talking about hybrid events with international partners and academic institutions. And I just I I’m at this point where I am wondering why there’s a feeling of grasping of trying to obtain something from the past, right?

So I I work with another non-profit organization where we we have not converted virtual as soon as we could meet with more than five people, in a dining area again, everybody on the team like converted over that. And then we had some people drop. We had some people who just phoned in on somebody’s phone we didn’t set up any real tech on how to do the virtual dynamic team interaction, that rich with you know, visual content chat, pictures of people and better audio quality realistically from the technology we use because it’s like the person on the phone couldn’t hear the person who is like 10 feet down the table.

So I was like a repeat back. Pause, not a natural conversation. And this organization like it’s struggling is my kind of perception and I really want to help. I really want to help. I don’t feel like I’ve I found the right way to trigger a discussion in looking at how we can set up.

More virtual engagement, We’ve had some successes where, you know, we’ve done photography and pictures and posting, but it’s like, we don’t quite have everything set up in a way to make it successful. So how can we, how could we, imagine what the organization does used to it? Had a monthly meeting for members, it was always a kind of a thing of like how?

Yeah, a lot of people don’t show up for this. It’s overpriced meeting with the meal was. Yeah. I was okay but it wasn’t anything the right home about and you know the the big part was the social interaction with other leaders in our area. And that’s what, that’s what I think.

That’s what I think is missing. Like, there’s opportunity where we supported, the community, we had community speakers. We had congressmen, we had senior leadership from our organization. We had, you know, like the community charities fundraising for those groups and like the two things, the two, consistent things that like I really felt like drew me in and I’m curious to hear, you know, what draws others in.

I think that’s it gonna be important for us is it was the connection and like networking learning from others, which that was valuable. And then the other part with that networking was again, it was a learning thing, like learning from the speakers learning, what’s going on, knowing what’s in packing, me and my team and being able to understand and ask questions of like, well, what about X?

And you know, those were some of the biggest conversations, the best conversations that I had. I mean, if a conversation I talked like was a conversation, it really did feel like that a lot of times, even though it was this prominent figure, speaking to a room, usually with a hundred and fifty, sometimes 50 people, all depended, on whether there’s a holiday or people were on vacation or maybe the speaker advertising, wasn’t the huge just draw.

And so that’s where you know I’m continuing to think about hybrid events and virtual events hybrid meetings and how how do we do that engagement in a way that helps carry on the purpose, the mission, the passion of our different organizations, in our different aspects of life. And that’s where.

I think this organization might be a good opportunity to get some really good content that we can share with our members. And, you know, besides having the the interactive element of, you know, leadership daily, it would also be a platform like okay with federal managers association that. Well that’s the name of the organization.

Like this is a way where we can do something really cool, really good and help get the message out there advocating for excellence in federal service. Yeah, I guess it’s probably better if I just talk about the organization because it’s a really great organization. If you know what they do, if you know what the members do and it’s in a nutshell, an advocating for excellence in federal service.

Now, it’s primarily managers. But any federal employee can actually join as an associate member, and it’s not only like a leadership network and an opportunity to learn from other managers. You know, whether you’re a first level supervisor or a aspiring to be a leader, it’s a place where you can join and hear and speak and meet from other people who are passionate about leading.

And that’s why I think leadership daily could actually help really support the federal managers association because it falls in line with the, you know, the mission maximizer mindset. Like how do you maximize those mission-based organizations, whether it’s governmental and there’s the intersection of a couple there, right? So now, man, that’s what I’m thinking about now.

And I think, I think as I go down the road of leadership daily, it’s going to be a really great kind of nexus point, with the federal, managers association the, you know, first I’m building, the text stack the, the process, the way to get the engagement and then building out a schedule of different speakers right now.

So, for those of you listening? Yeah, this is one of the earlier webcasts podcasts live cast. I don’t really know what to call it a leadership cast. But the next step, I’m excited for the next step is getting valuable support interaction, dialogue. All the things people are yearning for, for that connection for that, that hope and aspiration for the future.

That yearning and providing a place for people who are yearning for that to come together. So super excited gonna definitely keep you all in the loop. I appreciate you, listening, if you have your any kind of feedback, question, comment something I’m missing something that doesn’t make sense. Something that you think?

I’m just dead wrong or dead, right? Post a comment on your favorite platform on here. #Leadership daily. I want to know what your thoughts are and speak, more and focus more on what you’re really interested in hearing. So, thank you everybody and talk to you next time.
